Visitors

Although not open to the public, visitors are allowed under certain circumstances and by appointment.

Document Supply Service

We offer a limited photocopy service to other libraries through normal inter-library document supply procedures. Single copies can be provided to other libraries for non-commercial research or private study where no other location exists. Please note that we can only supply photocopies to other libraries, and not to individuals.

Human Genetics Unit Library

The MRC, Human Genetics Unit Library provides an information service to the scientific community, students and visiting workers within the unit. The library, refurbished in 2003, offers a bright, relaxed environment and continually responds to the needs of the modern researcher by providing online resources and facilities in preference to and supported by the more traditional formats. We are currently working towards a more virtual library, therefore regularly vet the printed material and if appropriate, replace with electronic access or services.
